Problems with MD5_tool

1. Thanks for the great video on CheckSums. Very clear. I am using it for my digital art.
2. I can download the program and generate Checksums-but I cannot save the checksums. I gives me the checksums but I am not able to save them. I have to use another program so the Checksums are saved. I do get a overall checksum number for a folder but it is only 1kb. When I click on it- it takes me to a menu so I can search for another program to open it. see file below.
3. After I download the MDk5_tool and use it to generate checksums-it goes away!
   There is no icon on the pc ( i use windows 10). Do I have to do this everytime I want to use checksums for my art.
