I think this makes sense. If your computer is sleeping, it doesn't do anything until you wake it up either

not the computer, the streamdeck, you know the button panel is in sleep mode (as in the buttons turn off from not being pressed recently)

Right, i was just using a similar example. If the deck is in sleep mode, I wouldn't expect it to do anything

So the code is being executed on the deck and not the host OS? Then the countdown should prevent power save from starting while it is in progress
