My emacs customizations. Feel free to steal them for your own settings.
- Definition for having local extensions. Useful for when you have things at work but not at home.
- Yaws two-mode
- Automatic removal of trailing whitespace
- Highlight trailing whitespace
- Highlight parts of line exceeding 80 characters in length.
- Enables erlang-mode for rebar.config files.
- Column numbers
- Show parenteses mode.
- Version control. This creates files with the approximate format "SOME_FILE.txt.~X" when a file is opened and then saved.
- Turns off audio bell for errors emacs runs into, instead it is now more visual.
