I have tried to export some animations in collada format using both Blender and Cinema4D, but both fail to load, resulting in parsing errors, due to differences with the model you provided, especially:

  • No "polylist" node with normals, texcoords... I get the same fields under "triangles" node.
  • Bones referenced sometimes by ID and some by name.

How did you export the cowboy model? Thanks for sharing the project, it has been really useful!
