Contributing to TigerPOD

TigerPOD is an open project — improvements to the design, the docs, and the build experience are all welcome.

Ways to help

  • Improve the shell — a better fit, easier printing, or a variant for another spool size. Share your remix on MakerWorld and open an issue linking to it.
  • Report what didn't fit — a spool, a reader variant, or an OS quirk. Open an issue with the model and what happened.
  • Fix or extend the docs — corrections, translations, clearer steps. Open a pull request.
  • Show your build — photos of your printed Pod help everyone. Drop them in an issue or on the Discord.

Before you open a PR

  • Keep changes focused and describe what you changed and why.
  • For hardware changes, say which printer/filament you tested on and how the readers fit.
