[Question] Current use of autosplit on Linux?

I'm wondering if there's any way to currently make use of the Autosplit program on Linux. I have tested with Livesplit on wine, which does not appear to read the button presses from the autosplitter (unless I'm missing something), and it seems with LSO there is a bug preventing it from working properly. If there's any info I'd greatly appreciate it.

Never tested through WINE, I have no idea what to expected when it comes to detecting available capture methods.

AutoSplit is intended to work on Linux as-is (there's a self-extracting executable produced by PyInstaller). Although it currently crashes on boot if gnome-screenshot is missing (obviously that's not intended, I'll fix that soon)

I recently switched to Linux so I'll be dogfooding AutoSplit on Linux rather than just quickly testing in VMs. Expect fixes and QoL improvements in the coming months.

For example I'm a bit more familiar with distribution standards. So I'd like to provide a proper AppImage for the self-contained app on Linux.

I meant more what to pair the program with, it works perfectly fine on my machine with the ubuntu option.

I tried out LibreSplit which seems to work fine, just not sure what kind of features that program has as I like to have things like BPT on screen.

In theory any program that accepts hotkeys. You just gotta match your AutoSplit hotkeys to that program. I've seen people use AutoSplit to trigger other actions on their PC, take specific screenshots, as an automatic counter, etc.
