Demo doesn’t work on iOS

Not sure why, but tapping the text doesn’t work.

Because iOS is weird. Tapping on text doesn't fire the click event unless you do some magic trickery to it. One way is to detect iOS and add the style

  cursor: pointer;
}

to tell the browser that the element is meant to be clicked on.
