not working with latest Phoenix 1.8

Am trying to setup with phoenix 1.8 and it fails. Even the counter. Alot of vite issues.
Previous version work well and very direct.
Please help

1. Your elixir and erlang version
2. Exact command you've used to install - was it igniter?
3. What Vite issues exactly do you see?

My steps:

mix igniter.new my_app --with phx.new --install [email protected]
cd my_app
mix phx.server

and it should work 🤔

managed to sort. it is working. i realized my issue was with postcss version. version 8.9 was not working. version 8.4 working well.

Ok, I'm looking into it. So downgrading postcss was the solution? Was the initial version installed by live_vue?

yes. it was live_vue. please check it. especially app.js.

Ouch @gurupetach , I see you've used live_vue 0.7! I'm almost ready with 1.0, you should try to install it with a command from readme:

mix archive.install hex igniter_new
mix igniter.new my_app --with phx.new --install [email protected]

and it should just work! Version 0.7 was designed to work with Phoenix 1.7, not updated to 1.8.

How can i return colocatedHooks hooks in app.js. is my version in app.js correct? I need the spread operator back. removed it inorder to make my live_vue implementation work

It's really hard to assist you without the code, but in general Phoenix socket hooks is just a normal JS object. You can create it by yourself, by merging colocated hooks with live vue hook. Feel free to use spread operator.
