uni cal events get resynced in gcal

As we discussed before, we should let the user do whatever they want with their events in gcal and not "resync" them again later and mess up someone's calendar (I moved the Fall 26 schedule release event to this Friday and the registration opening event to March 30th and the sync job apparently resynced my calendar and put the events back on their original dates)

@miretskydatwit there's not rly an easy way to do this... when we sync we can't exactly only ignore things users deleted

Oh I see, you're saying the sync job resyncs all events in a user's gcal? But why? We should let the user control if they want to reset their calendar in the extension maybe...

I am saying there isn't a good way to let them control that without fundamentally re-thinking our whole sync logic

Hmm, well if you and Logan really want users to be able to do whatever they want in their gcals, then I think it makes sense to think about redoing the sync logic...
