After #107, we want a notebook that shows the main workflow of variational DA with Wofost72_WLP_CWB, you may use similar data and settings used in 08a Data assimilation with the EnKF.ipynb and 08b Data assimilation with the EnKF multistate.ipynb. Check with Allard there might be a notebook with variational DA as well.
You may need to add some utils function for variational DA so the notebook isnot that large. In this case, just add necessary tests.
