It won't be in this plugin (perhaps in a new spectrum equalizer plugin instead). As I have been working on the compressor, you should not expect it soon. Therefore, I would recommend buying Pro-Q 4/ SpecCraft / Soothe if you need this feature.
It will be really painful to make it work in all DAWs. As more and more DAWs tend to sandbox plugins nowadays, I cannot find a reliable way to do that. |

Hello. Great fantastic plug-in, unbelievable that it's free. I already had pro q3, but if I had known about this I never would have bought it.
However with pro q4 out now, it has some amazing features that after trailing make me still want to upgrade, but if they could be implemented or even approximated in here I would easily be persuaded not to.
I'm sure you know what they'll be, but I'll say it anyway. The spectral processing. It seems small on paper but in practice it is HUGE, specifically with unmasking elements. Having it duck only the specific frequencies that overlap instead of the entire band makes it possible to unmask with so much more transparency and efficiently. You can both unmask more but also more transparently since it only reduces the specific frequencies instead of entire bands.
This one is less of a big deal and I could live without it, but it still be nice to have the instance list where it communicates with other instances of the plug-in without having to side chain. More of a convenience than a necessity.
I don't know how committed you are to keeping it free, but perhaps if you needed incentive to work on improving it anymore you could keep it how it is for free, and maybe do a "pro" version with those features for a small fee but still cheaper than pro q4. Great work either way.
