Im interested in this module/mode im testing it in my tp link mesh.
Has anyone tried using this mode? It does not seem to work for me.
A couple of questions:

  • Is meshID the ESSID? BSSID?
  • Can someone provide a sample command which worked for you using mode s
  • this is the command im using

sudo mdk4 wlan0mon s -n 'mywifi' -s 0 -f 5

Advance thank you for any inputs.
Cheers!

meshID is like the SSID. 32 byte name of the network.

  • Yes, it's me.

Have you tried using this mode "s" and made it work?

meshid can be found only in a wireshark capture on the mesh systems channel. do a breif capture and do a string packet search for "meshid" to get the 6 character ID
