text.split is not a function on restricting the paste

Hi,

We restrict the paste based on some logic like the one below.

this.editor.on('paste', (e) => {
  if (this.lastCopiedText !== e.text) {
     e.text = ''
  }
})

While creating multiple cursors(ctrl + alt) and trying to paste, then we got an error that text.spilt is not a function.

We understood the reason why we are getting this error.

Document.prototype.$split = function (text) { //ace.js:7591:1
        return text.split(/\r\n|\r|\n/);
};

Any suggestion to resolve this issue? We need to restrict the paste.
