I quickly tried Friends at the end of december and when I made a post using it, it was also sent to all the people who subscribed to my blog with Jetpack-Subscribers. I could not find any option to prevent this.

Could you be a bit more specific in how you created that post with the Friends plugin? While there used to be a "quick post panel", all it does is create a post on your WordPress.
So while thus sending it to the Jetpack subscribers seems unexpected, it's a natural consequence. I do hear you in that this is something that you might not want.
I've been tinkering with adding an option to create such posts in a separate custom post type, which would then avoid sending the post to your subscribers.
So thanks for bringing this up, I'll work on finding a way to avoid this.

I think I used the enable-mastodon-apps extension, and then I used Moshidon as a client. But now I do see that it's a separate project (sorry, I thought it was part of Friends). Maybe I should post my issue there ?
Yes, I thought I had an issue like this already there but I wasn't able to find it myself. It's certainly high on my radar and I am already working on this. Peek preview:
