Electron 39 support

I recently tried to use this plugin with electron 39 and I don't seem to get any audio.
The plugin works correctly with electron 38.

pretty sure its because of https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/6652695 (if that matches the 39 release timeline)

the flag got renamed, will test and send a fix pr if that works

could be related to https://issues.chromium.org/issues/438120463 as well 🤔

to update here, looks like the flags in the repo has all graduated and launched as part of 141 to include system audio: https://developer.chrome.com/release-notes/141, and latest electron 39 is on 142, so should have it now

also for electron apps, it may require some entitlement in the plist to use it, like https://developer.apple.com/documentation/bundleresources/information-property-list/nsaudiocaptureusagedescription

I’m facing the same issue. It works correctly on Electron v38 but not on v39.

Hey hey, ya so the relevant flag from chrome side has fully launched in 39 and above, this package is actually no longer needed, based on our test, you just need: 1. Declare the microphone usage ans audio input in the entitlement (for macos) when build the app 2. Use loopback when get display media 3. It will work as long as you have granted both the screen recording and system audio only permissions

you just need:

If this package is no longer required could you update your README with relevant steps for its removal? I use your package in my app and would prefer to remove it if it's not needed.
