Hi I am unable to see any APL documents when testing this skill. could it be because the cdnPath (https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/ddg-skill/) does not have public access? Thanks!

I see what you're saying about the cdnPath - I'll investigate that - however I was able to get the sample to work despite that. If you've manually setup the skill, double-check that you've enabled APL in the Interfaces section of the Build tab.
