[Bug] (minor) Browser extension buttons not clickable on icon

What happened?

(actual browser: Vivaldi but using the Chrome extension)

The buttons in the browser extension cannot be clicked everywhere inside the button rectangle for some reason. In the video below, you will see the mouse pointer change from a hand to an arrow. When it's a hand (on the region of the button that is outside the icon/text of the button) I can click the button and get the expected result. When it's an arrow, clicking does nothing.

Steps To Reproduce

For me this happens 100% of the time on most buttons in the browser extension. I also have Vivaldi using the AliasVault browser extension on a Windows 11 machine, and it does the same thing there.

Thanks for raising this issue, and thanks for the screen recording.

I have just tried to reproduce this issue on both Chrome and Vivaldi on Mac, however in both browsers it works fine for me, so I have not been able to reproduce this yet. I'll try and spin up a Linux and Windows machine later to see if I can reproduce it in there.

Also a question: you said you have this issue on both Linux and Windows. Is this on the same (physical) machine, or are they different machines? Just to get an idea if it's more widely reproducable for you.

Hello, thanks for trying to repro! I had the issue on Linux and Windows on the same machine (dual booting), but also on two other Windows 11 machines (my laptop and my work machine). I just connected to both by RDP and confirmed I still see the same issue.

I will try a fresh install on a different PC on Chrome with a new account, and see if it still repros for me. But it's pretty weird that it happens me everywhere I have used AliasVault so far, but it doesn't repro for you. (but I had a feeling it would be something weird because it's pretty basic for any app and it would have been fixed quickly if it happened to everyone)
