Integrating pikvm into Tactical RMM

Hello.

I don't know if it's crazy, but I'm going to start implementing pikvm with raspberry pi 4 on some devices and of course I'd like to be able to control them directly from tactical rmm. I'd have to do something with the raspberry agent, some option to detect that it's pikvm and directly instead of seeing the raspberry desktop, the pikvm portal would open to control the device. How do you see it?

I am working on a feature for Tactical RMM that enables the integration of PiKVM devices into the interface, similar to how MeshCentral is currently used for "Take Control." My goal is to maintain both integrations so that:

Standard agents continue using MeshCentral's iframe for remote control.
Specific agents (identified as PiKVM) load the PiKVM login portal (https:///login/) within an iframe in Tactical RMM.
Currently, I understand that Tactical RMM loads MeshCentral in an iframe, likely using logic that dynamically constructs the iframe URL in the backend (Django) and passes it to the frontend (Vue.js). My intention is to replicate this mechanism for PiKVM.

That seems overkill for something where URL actions would fit the bill
But if you where to build it and integrate it fully I guess I would have to exploring pikvm 😉

You could also look at my proposal #2026 it would work for integrating any kind of remote desktop control.
