Before creating an Issue/Discussion or Posting in a thread

• Search existing issues/discussions to avoid duplicates
• Check existing resources first

  • SP-API Sample Solution Repository
• Verify the issue is SP-API related

When Creating an Issue/Discussion

• Use descriptive titles for your posts
• Stay on topic and open a new post if there is a different topic
• Provide context and relevant details about your implementation
• Keep responses concise and on-topic

Security

• Follow Amazon's security guidelines
• Do not share your AWS credentials or SP-API keys
• Report security vulnerabilities privately to Amazon
• Remove sensitive information
• Do not share unauthorized workarounds for API limitations

Don't

• Create post for troubleshooting
• Create multiple posts for the same topic
• Share workarounds that violate Terms of Service
• Post spam or promotional content
• Share personal/confidential information
• Harass or discriminate

Moderation

Maintainers may:

• Remove inappropriate content
• Close irrelevant issues
• Ban users who violate guidelines
