Maven 3.9.9 is failing on SDK installations

Hello!
I'm currently working with SDKman to install Maven inside a docker container and we've realised that there is a problem with the 3.9.9 version. I've just found the issue that other person had with 3.9.8 and I saw that there have been changes on the repositories that serves maven versions. SDK is using this page https://dlcdn.apache.org/maven/maven-3/ to download the last stable version which is 3.9.9 for them. Could you please take back that version as it has been done with 3.9.8?

I have no insight how sdkman works, but this PR seems related:
sdkman/sdkman-db-migrations#724

Again, it seems before sdkman used Central (as it should) to get the distro zip as Central is immutable hence URLs are stable and durable. But this PR changed it to wrong dlcdn URL, that is and was (unless team was lazy) offering latest only.

What is mystery for me, is that this retroactively changed download URLs as well? As prev URL looks correct and is not dlcdn.

Oh, that's true. For me it's a mystery too. I've download 3.9.8 and you're right, they have the correct URL. I hope somebody see your comment soon to solve this problem.

Not a solution, but just FTR: ASF projects were practically "always" doing this, the document for ASF project downloads is here:

Is this something the Maven team supports, or is this sdkman's responsibility?

I've changed my Dockerfile so maven can be downloaded directly instead of doing it with SDKman and it seems that works properly with the "good" URL of maven (thanks for your help @cstamas ).

@elharo nope, this was messed up by sdkman project, but became apparent when we "cleaned up the attic" by removing stale release versions from ASF DLCDN (which we were lazy to perform before).

@laurarue cool beans! I am closing this issue, as there is not much we can do more: we raised issues where needed, let them deal with those.

FYI! sdkman/sdkman-cli#1458 (comment). Everything is working properly now, I checked the download and it goes to "repo.maven..." again.
