Describe the problem

I am encountering multiple problems with the board selector menu on the Arduino IDE toolbar:

Every time I select a board in either the drop-down or the menu, the settings do not carry over, e.g refresh is not reliable.

More often than not, the entire settings in the menu are grey-out. Only repeat clicking in the window, re-opening the menu activates previously inaccessible menu settings.

You select a board in drop down menu / port selector, press safe. Yet the entry in the main menu does not change and vice versa.

To reproduce

Reproduction instructions not provided.

Expected behavior

Board selector is fully functional.

Arduino IDE version

Version: 2.3.5-nightly-20241212
