We, as members, contributors, and leaders, pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of:
- Age, body size, visible or invisible disability
- Ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression
- Level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality
- Personal appearance, race, religion, sexual identity, and orientation
We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community.
Positive behavior includes:
- Demonstrating empathy and kindness toward others
- Respecting differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences
- Giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback
- Accepting responsibility, apologizing when appropriate, and learning from mistakes
- Focusing on what benefits the community as a whole
Unacceptable behavior includes:
- Sexualized language or imagery, and any sexual attention or advances
- Trolling, insults, derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
- Harassment in public or private settings
- Publishing others’ private information without explicit permission
- Any conduct inappropriate in a professional setting
Community leaders are responsible for clarifying and enforcing acceptable behavior and will take fair corrective action when necessary.
Leaders may remove, edit, or reject contributions (comments, commits, code, issues, wiki edits) that violate this Code of Conduct and will communicate reasons for moderation when appropriate.
This Code of Conduct applies:
- In all community spaces
- When an individual represents the community publicly (official email, social media, or events)
- Report abusive, harassing, or unacceptable behavior via GitHub Issues
- All complaints are reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly
- Community leaders must respect the privacy and security of reporters
Community leaders will follow these guidelines to determine consequences:
- Impact: Use of inappropriate language or unprofessional behavior
- Consequence: Private written warning; may request a public apology
- Impact: Single or repeated minor violations
- Consequence: Warning with instructions to avoid interaction with affected parties; repeated violations may result in temporary or permanent ban
- Impact: Serious violation or sustained inappropriate behavior
- Consequence: Temporary ban from public interaction with the community; no interaction with affected parties allowed
- Impact: Pattern of violations, harassment, or aggression
- Consequence: Permanent ban from all public community interactions
