Prerequisites

Description

continue button is gray and cannot be clicked

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch Atom
  2. Open Git Tab
  3. Try to click continue with filled in informations

Expected behavior:

Accept the informations and allow me to use Git Tab normally

Actual behavior:

The continue button is gray and cannot be clicked

Reproduces how often:

100% for me

This is fixed by #2564, which is merged and shipped to Atom core - it'll be included in the next nightly build.

As a workaround until the fix makes its way to the stable Atom release channel, you can add an initialized git repository folder as a project root, open the git tab, and configure your git identity there and that should succeed.
