Veridooh - Software Engineer - Remote/Ho Chi Minh City - FT

Proven Experience: At least 3 years of software development experience, demonstrating a track record of designing and delivering large scale data driven web applications across the backend or full stack.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Remote Working Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience working remotely, including experience coordinating across time zones across teams.
English Proficiency: Ability to communicate in English

Modern Development Stacks: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and familiarity with frameworks like React or Angular. You should be comfortable and adaptable across these or similar technologies to create responsive and effective software solutions. A lack of familiarity with this tech stack but a willingness to learn and upskill on this is also highly desirable.
Cloud Infrastructure: Good knowledge with cloud services such as AWS RDS, SQS, Lambda, and S3. Past experience in building and deploying applications on cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and robustness is highly desirable.
Communication and Continuous Learning: Excellent communication skills are crucial. You should be able to articulate complex technical details and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members. A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies is essential.

Data Systems Expertise: Experience working with large scale data in RDBMS and/or data warehouse would be a bonus.

Driving Development: Lead the development of data-driven web applications. Work hands-on with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js, leveraging AWS services like RDS, SQS, Lambda, and S3.
Improving and Innovating: Continuously refine our products to ensure they can scale as the company grows globally, as well as introducing new features to solve more client problems.
Best Practices: Commit to high coding standards — write simple, clean, and testable code that just works. Advocate for best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability.
