[BUG] Companion 4.0 Build 7891 crashes at load

Describe the bug

When running Companion 4.0 Build 7891, it immediately crashes before the loader window is displayed. The install was just updated from build 7879 which ran ok.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Run Companion 4.0 Build 7891
2. Crash

Expected Behavior

No crash
