Button in the Automation Rules Designer CRM_XXX_ROBOT_DESIGNER_TOOLBAR

{% note tip "" %}

If you are developing integrations for Bitrix24 using AI tools (Codex, Claude Code, Cursor), connect to the MCP server so that the assistant can utilize the official REST documentation.

{% endnote %}

Scope: placement, crm

The widget adds its own button to the automation rules designer, where the automation of CRM objects is configured: leads, deals, new invoices, and custom object types.

The placement code is specified in the PLACEMENT parameter of the placement.bind method.

{% note info "" %}

The widget is not displayed in the interface until the application installation is complete. Check the application installation

{% endnote %}

Where the Widget is Embedded

#| || Placement Code | Location || || CRM_LEAD_ROBOT_DESIGNER_TOOLBAR | Dropdown menu item of the top button in the lead || || CRM_DEAL_ROBOT_DESIGNER_TOOLBAR | Dropdown menu item of the top button in the deal || || CRM_SMART_INVOICE_ROBOT_DESIGNER_TOOLBAR | Dropdown menu item of the top button in the new invoices || || CRM_DYNAMIC_XXX_ROBOT_DESIGNER_TOOLBAR | Button in the automation rules designer of a custom CRM object type. Replace XXX with the numeric identifier of the specific custom entity type. For example, CRM_DYNAMIC_183_ROBOT_DESIGNER_TOOLBAR || |#

Where to Find It in the Interface

Open a CRM list and click Automation rules. The application button appears on the right in the header of the Sales automation window.

Do not confuse this placement with TASK_ROBOT_DESIGNER_TOOLBAR and SONET_GROUP_ROBOT_DESIGNER_TOOLBAR: those belong to task automation and require different scopes.

What the Handler Receives

Data is sent in a POST request: some parameters come in the handler URL query string, the rest in the request body {.b24-info}

The example is shown for the CRM_DEAL_ROBOT_DESIGNER_TOOLBAR placement. Other codes send the same set of data: only the PLACEMENT value changes.

PLACEMENT_OPTIONS

The PLACEMENT_OPTIONS value is passed as a JSON string with the call context.

The placement has no keys of its own — the context carries only the universal URI key. The pipeline identifier does not arrive as a separate parameter, but it can be taken from the path in URI. For example, for the /crm/deal/automation/0/ value the pipeline identifier is 0.

OPTIONS When Registering via placement.bind

This placement does not support the OPTIONS parameters. The values passed are not retained: the placement.get method returns an empty array for such a registration.
