[Bug]: editing: "end" key doesn't go to end of line in this scenario

What happened?

This seems a little unusual but reporting as it could be an indication of another problem. At times end of lines have extra spaces on them and this bug shows up:

1. type `PRINT "Hello World" ' (with a space on the end after the close quote)
2. go to the start of the line, comment it out and tab it in
3. press End and the cursor goes to just after "l" instead of the end of the line
