hello.
in our stack, we've replaced importly with our new tool 👉 scute 👈
we've abandoned importmaps in favor of bundling on-save with esbuild.. it's just too damn fast..
i really liked importly.. i saw a bright future for importmaps that didn't come to fruition due to various shortcomings.. and so, yet again, we find ourselves broken to kneel under the yoke of the bundling paradigm..
importly's minimalist philosophy lives on in scute, where we build our projects with the simple command scute -v.. and scute comes with this cool watch routine multiplexer called octo.. check it out..
importly is now officially "in the freezer".. maybe one day it'll be thawed out and rewritten.. lack of package.json "exports" field support remains importly's most glaring shortcoming..
