When creating an html-element with an id-attribute in an empty editor-field, the function MooEditable::ensureRootElement() deletes this attribute.
Change MooEditable.js line 642 from html += new Element('div').adopt($(childNode).clone()).get('html');
to html += new Element('div').adopt($(childNode).clone(true, true)).get('html');
to fix this.
