It could be helpful for debugging to describe how the automatic forwarding works there. Something like "Ports are polled every five seconds from /proc/net/tcp and /proc/net/tcp6" or something like that.
I have seen it is possible to make modifications to the performance panel, so it seems reasonable we can add things to the ports panel as well.
Edit: I was thinking about the panel at the top left that shows when you click the host name, but maybe there are other places we can put this info, like on that bar above the terminal where it says "your application is listening on ports". Should there also be a notification?
