I wasn't familiar with this project, it's very interesting. The point raised by @tremor021 is undoubtedly fundamental.

Run TLD import, if it finishes without any issues approx. 1hr:30 min then all is good and working no need to tweak php and apache settings..

TLD import did take some time, but it completed without any errors. Was roughly 1,500 TLDs.

@Hosteroid Btw, at this moment none of the settings from your php.ini are applied. its a stock php 8.4 ini file. If needed we can easily apply those

If TLD import passed without any issues then its all good, usually only that is failing if php configs are not good like memory, timeouts etc.. Hosteroid/domain-monitor#7 (comment)

These are our default values for when installing PHP. I guess thats why it goes smoothly :)

Hi,
I think it would be useful to mention on the project page that a cron job needs to be added inside the LXC in order to automatically analyze the domains.

For example:
0 */12 * * * php /opt/domain-monitor/cron/check_domains.php

@tremor021 can you please tell me what version of phpmailer, php, etc is used by your container? We are getting more and more reports that emails are not working via your script, even tho they work on our docker container and direct install..

@Hosteroid we don't make any changes to the application. We are deploying it using your documentation and/or dockerfile or docker/compose.

PHPMailer installed is 6.12.0
Apache is 2.4.65
PHP is 8.4
Composer is 2.9.1

This is what stands out for me in the logs:

220-We do not authorize the use of this system to transport unsolicited,

openssl is already included and ca-certificates is installed by default on debian 13
php extensions we include by default are bcmath,cli,curl,gd,intl,mbstring,opcache,readline,xml,zip with addition of mysql for your app
