The Gitlab project made a change that is affecting the archive hash and should be affecting some of our packages. Right now, ConanCenterIndex has around 30 recipes that download sources from Gitlab, and some of them should not work locally, or when opening a new pull request.
It's not the same incident of the GitHub archive hash stability , according to Gitlab developers.
So far, they found a solution that fixes the situation, but it's not in production yet, so we will need to wait a bit more.
Meanwhile, please, avoid opening new pull requests by updating the SHA-256 value in conandata.yml, it will be broken as soon as Gitlab fixes the situation in production. To build recipes locally, we suggest you adapt your
conandata.yml
temporally, by removing the SHA-256 entry or, update to the current value provided by Gitlab projects.Please, follow the original issue to keep updated and get more information about the current situation:
