Is there a good documentation on step by step guide for installing confluent-kafka-python with kerberos support?

Is there a good documentation on step by step guide for installing confluent-kafka-python with kerberos support? I tried to follow readme of this repo but think its missing pieces and I have to guess how to make it work.

What OS & distro are you on?

Unix. with python 3.7.

Unix isn't really a (single) thing.
Is it Ubuntu? CentOS? Which version? What architecture?

also I tried to install it via yum install -

Is this the latest version for Linux? I also tried to do 'build from source method by running .configure etc to pick latest 1.8 version of librdkafka and point ld_library_path to this new .so but that also didnt work).
