Cryptomator Shortcuts “Get Folder” action times out on iOS

Summary

The Cryptomator Shortcuts action “Get Folder” consistently fails with a timeout when trying to access a folder inside a vault. The same error occurs with different Cryptomator vaults.

Steps to Reproduce

Create a new shortcut in Apple Shortcuts.

2. Add the Cryptomator “Get Folder” action.
3. Select an existing unlocked Cryptomator vault.
4. Select a folder inside the vault (e.g. “iPhone Kamera”).
5. Run the shortcut.
6. The action waits and then fails with: “The operation took too long to complete. Try again.” (“Der Vorgang dauerte zu lange, um ihn abzuschließen. Versuche es erneut.”)
7. The same behavior is reproducible with another Cryptomator vault.

Expected Behavior

The Cryptomator “Get Folder” Shortcuts action should return the selected folder from the unlocked vault so that subsequent Shortcuts actions can process its contents.

Actual Behavior

The “Get Folder” action does not return the selected folder. After waiting for some time, the action fails with a timeout: “The operation took too long to complete. Try again.”

The German error message is: “Der Vorgang dauerte zu lange, um ihn abzuschließen. Versuche es erneut.”

The issue persists after restarting the iPhone and occurs with different Cryptomator vaults. The vaults themselves can be opened and browsed normally in Cryptomator/Files.
