Literate Programming in education

There is some research on literate programming in education. This is useful for two reasons:

1. It's useful for teachers to know the effects of using it in teaching.

2. It might say a bit about the effects of using it in practice too, since we basically want to teach others about the design of the code. But it depends on the study.
