Description:
As a development team, we need to develop a usability research plan to ensure that any technical recommendations we make will be effectively adopted by visually impaired Veterans accessing their decision letters. The research plan should be agile and iterative, allowing us to gather key insights quickly and adjust as needed.

Key Usability Questions to include in the plan:

  • What percentage of Veterans use assistive technology, and what would our reach be if we implemented a solution?
  • How are Veterans that use assistive technology generally accessing their decision letters?
  • Can we learn from past research or existing studies on Veteran accessibility needs?

Acceptance Criteria:

  • Develop a research plan and timeline in mural

execution details to think through:

  • Identify key stakeholders and what help you would need from others on the team
  • utilize existing research on assistive technology usage.
  • identify additional questions you would want answered
  • Document the plan in mural
  • share with the team
