Description

We are currently pegged at version 16.2 for React & related in eFolder. Since that's over two years old and missing numerous fixes and features, let's bump that to current.

Technical notes

This will entail updating deprecated lifecycle methods with UNSAFE_ prefix. If feasible, migrate away from these methods.
