Description

Existing Prefill component guidance is similar to, but not entirely the same as, this new guidance. Is this component still in use, and if so, this new Pattern page should crosslink with the component guidance.

Recommended action

Consolidate guidance where possible, reducing redundancies and potentially conflicting information. It may be that we can remove the Prefill component from VADS entirely since it is just an alert.

@shiragoodman We are recommending the removal of the existing Prefill page entirely. The new pattern page should be the 'source of truth' for all prefill related guidance.

We are working with CAIA to add an alert to this page for temporary guidance while we investigate the future of this page and it's related content component. Work is being tracked in this task in our team repo.
