Description

It was decided that we need an alert sign-in variation for the forms without prefill to accommodate different content. We need to add an alert sign-in variation without pre-fill for the authenticated forms with only a login that have save in progress but do not get pre-fill because the user doesn’t have a profile.

Update guidance page for Alert sign-in with the new variation.

Remove the highlighted content and replace with this:
When you sign in with an identity-verified account, you can save your work in progress. You’ll have 60 days from when you start or make changes to submit your form.

Be sure to use the appropriate maturity scale option. If this is a new component that has not yet gone through Staging Review, use the "Use with Caution: Candidate" label.

Tasks

• Write or update component documentation for design.va.gov
• Coordinate with accessibility specialist to create or update accessibility guidance
• Request documentation draft review
• Once documentation is approved, publish to design.va.gov
