Docker Hub repository for osmseed-cgimap

Hi DevSeed team,

Lately, I’ve been working on separating cgimap from the main web-api container. I’ve created a new container using multi-stage builds, and it has been successfully tested in a Kubernetes environment.

However, deploying this improvement requires publishing the image to a new Docker Hub repository under the Development Seed account. Would it be possible for someone from the team to create a new repository named osmseed-cgimap?

At one point, we discussed with Sanjay the idea of moving container image creation to GitHub Container Registry. That would also require admin access to the organization in order to make the images public, which I assume may not be feasible. An alternative could be migrating osm-seed to a new GitHub organization, where we could manage and host future container images more easily.

Per my chat with Sanjay, we discussed the idea of creating a separate organization for osm-seed and use GitHub registry to store the docker images and to avoid relying on the DevSeed Docker Hub account. It’s just a proposal for now — something that everyone might need to agree on or discuss further.
