Hi, I would like to join Django Commons due to being a big proponent of opensource software and its ability to democratise learning and technology. I have valued and benefitted from opensource projects for a long time now and although in my current role at The National Archives I get to contribute to public repositories, I'd like to be involved a a volunteer, especially on projects that can reach further.
In particular recently, I came across another near-abandoned project which had been suggested to be taken over by jazzband, but due to resourcing issues that never was picked up and that led me to finding Django Commons as an alternative.
Which project(s) are you looking to contribute to?

Thank you @anthonyhashemi for joining! You'll get an invite email from GitHub. You'll have one week to accept that. If you don't mind, after accepting, can you set your organization membership as public?
Why do you want to join?
