Login flow stuck at “Verification Complete”

Steps to reproduce

1. Install Element X on a fresh new device
2. Log in to an existing Matrix account
3. On the “Confirm your identity” page, select Use another device
4. Perform an identity verification with an existing classic Element app for Android
5. Confirm both devices that the emoji set are match

Outcome

What did you expect?

The app shows a “Verification Complete” and the user should be allowed to go into the Chats screen.

What happened instead?

The app shows a “Verification Complete” with no visual indicator to wait or go to the next step in gathering up recent messages.
