Setting for terminal shortcuts - traditional bindings

Currently I keep hitting ctrl-u out of habit, to clear the line back to the start - this interrupts what I've been doing and starts an upload

Would it be accepted to have a setting which turns this off? Or, possibly adds the unix ctrl-u, ctrl-w, ctrl-a and ctrl-e bindings (delete-to-start, delete-word, move-to-start, move-to-end)?

I'm not against it, but I'd rather it wasn't just a single setting put in just for that one function, but maybe something more generic - I think other shortcuts annoys some people too (and if you're feeling up for it, I've had requests for shortcuts on different keys!).

We also have a JavaScript Editor Keymap option - I don't know if that could be extended (or maybe we should just have the new options next to it)

If it helps, there is a 'plugin' for the key shortcuts where they are handled, so having something generic should be reasonably easy:

However editor key handling is in codemirror, and like Ctrl-F for the terminal fullscreen is handled elsewhere (and should probably have been brought in - but that's a seperate issue!)
