I would like to throw the idea to create a file with a list of references.
Just a JSON with 3 fields ID, Citation, DOI_or_Permalink
We would fill in as we go along (dunno if is the best way because several pull requests might trigger confusion in the literature ID due to differen timings of the pull requests)

But the idea is to accomodate where we add our references, e.g. [values we found for emission factors of fuel] (https://github.com/euraf/OpenFarmCarbonTracker/blob/main/src/energy/data/emission_factor_electricity.csv) or emission factors for electricity
and how to cite them in the files, so we always have a source for the values we use. I think this is one of the highest values of this open venture
Would you add a extra column for that? Or there could is there a file with references we can cite in the column?
