Feature: Distribute of files/folders in grid view like in Windows Explorer

What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?

In grid view, the elements are aligned to the left. For purely visual reasons, it would be practical to distribute the elements horizontally, as in Windows Explorer.

Thank you for your feedback, can you please clarify which visual elements you are referring to (eg. cloud status)?

They're talking about the gap between the items changing so that the row will use the full window width rather than a fixed one that Files uses. If you put Windows File Explorer into a grid layout and change the window width you can see it.

I see, we had this behavior in the past but had to remove it when we added the List View layout. @marcelwgn might be able to fill in some more details.
