Question

When I added about 8,000 containers to the list view, it took almost five minutes and the page was very stuttering, and the memory footprint reached 2GB, how to solve it.

What kind of app are you making? Why it requires 8000 containers?

It was imported as a JSON file before, but now it just reads the dictionary from the JSON file and adds the characters to the container and then to the ListView.

Quizás deberías hacer una paginación para no agregar los 8000 contenedores de una sola vez, sino a demanda, con on_scroll y On_scroll_event. Yo tengo listviews paginados con más de 8000 cards con subregistros y no hay ralentizacion.

Thanks, maybe a workaround, but what if I take the swipe-on-swipe dynamic join? Will it still cause lag after adding all of them, and it doesn't seem to be beautiful if the music list is made into a component page in the case of music software.

It creates stuttering and a huge memory footprint when swiping through the list, even though I reduced the number to 5000.

5000 cargas de una sola vez producen eso. Con mil va bien, quizás unos pocos más. El enfoque que sugiero es que al llegar al final del listview se cargue otro lote y así sucesivamente. Listview según la documentación va construyendo los componentes a medida que se necesitan, para no producir recarga en la memoria. Yo hice algo similar pero poniendo un botón al final de la lista para cargar más (no es algo tan bello la verdad). Hoy si puedo te paso algo de código y veo si puedo reemplazar el botón por un evento de scroll. Debería funcionar.
