Export coordinate data for later processing?

Is it possible to add an option to export the paths that the cursor is taking for converting it into a picture later, rather than immediately as the mouse is moving?

Why do we need this? What is the motivation here?

I didn't expect to hear back about it three years later, cheers for coming back to the project!

For one, currently the colors are fixed, and if I don't like the color scheme then I would have to postprocess the picture or else edit the source code, which isn't advised.

Also, I might have some alternative ideas for how to visualize the data. Some that come to mind are:

• do not draw the cursor paths, instead only the clicks and straight lines between them -- this makes a
• translate all the click positions to the center, and draw the cursor movements starting from there. Reset to the center whenever you click -- this would make some curvy sun-like shape
• paint each pixel with a color proportional to the mouse speed at every point -- depending on how you do it, this requires a global view of the speed values

You could implement each of these in the live views, but if you save all the raw data, then you could switch visualizations after the fact.
