Google group not accessible

Hi all, apologies that this isn't directly a bug. I'm having an issue with the SNP filters (as described in this issue: #278). I can see the recommendation is to check the google group/mailing list, however, when I try to access it (https://groups.google.com/group/gemma-discussion) I get a page just saying 'content unavailable'.

Is there a way to access the google mailing list that I may be missing? I can see multiple issues here that relate to the SNP filters where a lot of SNPs are dropped in the analysis, and users were directed to the google discussion group so I'm hoping my solution is there.

Hi GEMMA developers, @pjotrp @xiangzhou - apologies for the tag, but I see you've handled issues here before and I'm hoping you might have a workaround for this. I wanted to kindly follow up regarding the GEMMA Google discussion group, which still seems to be inaccessible with a "content unavailable" message.

Past issues related to SNP filtering refer users to that group page, but without access it's difficult to troubleshoot or find recommended solutions.

Would it be possible to either:

• Restore access to the group (if it's still maintained), or
• Point us to any alternative documentation/answers for these SNP filtering issues?

Really appreciate all your work on GEMMA - it's method with the highest potential for my work and I'm following the panGEMMA page with a lot of interest too. Thank you in advance for your help!

Google groups is a pain with spam. We had to close it. I may put something in place later this year. The issue tracker is for bug reports (please).
