We’re excited about the possibility of integrating gluestackUI into AlienX, a VS Code extension designed to supercharge UI development by providing instant, pre-built UI component snippets for React and React Native.

What is AlienX?

AlienX is a developer-focused VS Code extension that allows users to quickly generate UI components with simple snippet prefixes. Instead of manually writing out component structures every time, AlienX provides ready-to-use code snippets that follow best practices—saving time and ensuring consistency.

Originally built for AlienUI, AlienX has now expanded to support multiple UI libraries, including shadcn/ui and Chakra UI. We’re now looking to integrate gluestackUI, allowing developers to easily insert gluestackUI components like Button, Card, Modal, and Form directly from VS Code.
