Subdivide polygon

Hello,

I have a polygon and try to subdivide it into more or less equal polygons. I'm currently using this lib but I did not have success yet.
Does anyone have tried it before and knows a lib or a good algorithm. The result should be somthing like showed in this post https://gis.stackexchange.com/a/375130
